Tallow is a gently rendered, nutrient-rich ingredient sourced from cow fat. Tallow has been used since at least ~2800 BCE — nearly 5,000 years ago. as a healthy and natural ingredient for skin care and soap.

For generations, people trusted tallow to moisturise and shield their skin, long before synthetic skincare existed. Over time, it was pushed aside in favour of lab-made alternatives packed with artificial fillers, designed more for profit margins and shelf life than real skin health.

Our product is always silky smooth when it leaves our facility but hot or cold conditions during shipping can sometimes change the texture. This is completely normal for a tallow balm and doesn’t affect the quality of the product.

Important tip: If the balm feels grainy, simply warm it between your hands and it’ll melt back to being buttery and smooth.

We offer an unscented option, plus gentle blood orange and lavender blends. Each is light, natural and fades quickly after application (usually within a minute), leaving nothing behind but calm, nourished skin.

Our Tallow Balm is best used within 9 months for peak freshness. However, all of our ingredients are naturally shelf-stable. We never use toxic preservatives or synthetic chemicals, just real, whole ingredients that hold up perfectly on their own.

To keep your balm in top condition, store it in a cool place and keep the lid tightly sealed. If you prefer a firmer texture, you can place it in the fridge. And if it softens in warmer temperatures, simply refrigerate it to restore its consistency.
